What we think.
When it comes to house electronics, I will always be a little biased towards LG. No product is perfect but I’ve always got exactly what LG promises from all my purchases from them. This TV (official number – LM550B) has all it takes to be your primary TV. For display, its 32 inches LED screen is capable of rendering Full High Definition(HD) image at a resolution of 1366 * 768, the refresh rate is 50hz but I don’t think this will be an issue considering the high quality expected from a brand like LG. You can expect a very crisp display due to LG’s Dynamic Color technology. The option of 8 different modes guarantees you’ll always find the one that matches the enviroment. Two HDMI ports (1 each at the rear and side) are adequate for your needs, also the age-old AV channels too are available for output. Only one USB port is available though.
Power consumption for this device is optimum with a standby power consumption of less than 0.5W. I’ll recommend this TV any day based on personal experience. You won’t be disappointed by the display.
