Hello, my fellow Nigerians! Today I want to share with you my opinion about the new Tecno Phantom V Fold, the first foldable smartphone from Tecno.
The Tecno Phantom V Fold has a 7.8-inch OLED display that can fold in half like a book. When folded, it becomes a 6.2-inch phone that fits easily in your pocket or purse. The display is bright, sharp and responsive, and supports 120Hz refresh rate for smooth scrolling and gaming.
The phone runs on Android 11 with Tecno’s HiOS 8.0 skin on top. It has a MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ processor, 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. It also has a 4500mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging and wireless charging. The phone can last for a day of moderate use on a single charge.
The Tecno Phantom V Fold has a quad-camera setup at the back, consisting of a 64MP main camera, a 12MP ultra-wide camera, an 8MP telephoto camera and a 2MP depth sensor. The camera quality is decent, but not exceptional. The phone also has a 32MP selfie camera on the front when folded, and a 16MP under-display camera when unfolded.
The Tecno Phantom V Fold is not perfect, though. It has some drawbacks, such as the lack of water resistance, the bulky hinge, the fragile screen and the high price tag. The phone costs about N695,000 in Nigeria, which is quite expensive for most people, but you need to have it in mind that other foldables are way more epensive.
However, if you are looking for a unique and innovative smartphone that can transform from a tablet to a phone and back again, the Tecno Phantom V Fold might be worth considering. It is a device that will surely turn heads and make you stand out from the crowd.
